Bio Corta

Francisco Marise es un cineasta argentino afincado en el País Vasco.

Es el director, guionista, montajista y productor de CAMIONERO, su segundo largometraje, estrenado en Proxima Competition en el 60 Karlovy Vary IFF.

Es también el director, guionista, director de fotografía, montador y productor de PARA LA GUERRA, su ópera prima, estrenada en la competencia Nuevos Directores del 66 Donostia Zinemaldia Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián.

Estudió Cine Documental en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV), San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Es Diseñador de Imagen y Sonido graduado en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina. 

También trabaja como montador, ayudante de dirección y director de fotografía.

Short Bio

Francisco Marise is an Argentinian filmmaker based in the Basque Country.

He is the director, screenwriter, film editor and producer of CAMIONERO (Truck Driver), his second feature film, premiered in the Proxima Competition at the at the 60th Karlovy Vary IFF.

He is also the director, screenwriter, DoP, film editor and producer of PARA LA GUERRA (To War), his debut feature film, premiered
in the New Directors competition at the 66th Donostia Zinemaldia-San Sebastian International Film Festival. 

He has a Master's Degree in Documentary Film from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (E.I.C.TV.), San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. He studied Image and Sound Design at the Universidad of Buenos Aires (U.B.A.). 

He also works as a film editor, A.D. and DoP.
